When a historical claim changes, the entry will identify the affected article and edition, the prior claim, the corrected claim, the date of review, evidence considered and a reason for the editorial decision. Contributor identity will be disclosed only with permission and appropriate privacy safeguards.
We do not fabricate past corrections or publish unreviewed claims as if editorially verified.
